Proper lip care is something many people wouldnt think about on a daily basis. I mean come on you only speak with ,eat with, and move those things everyday and yet you can still forget how essential they are to your everyday life. With winter almost here chapped lips might be the most irritable the thing the biting cold winter winds has to offer. The wonderful people at BALMSHOT lip balm allowed me to review their company and so generously sent me a good sized care package. Ive been using balm shot for almost a month and now I'm ready to share my opinion.
Balmshot was created by the companies founder Wayne S. Forrey who contracted lip cancer due to frequent sunburn. After becoming dissatified with regular lip balm despensers he invented balmshot.
BALMSHOT is a very unique lip balm. It is cleverly designed like a shotgun shell that perfectly fits it name. It also features a much sturdier cap and twist base than your run of the mill chapstick. One of the things I like most about this lip balm is not only the design is sturdy, but the lip balm itself is pretty firm as well.
The lipbalm is made of beeswax,natural oils and vitamin e. Compared to store brand lip balm Balmshot is a healthier selection for your lips. I'm always on the lookout for lip products that dont contain the chemicals you find in many products. Balmshot goes on very smoothly and successfully hydrated my lips for a good 4-5 hours before I had to re-apply.
I recieved all 4 varieties of the balmshot products. They have Classic, Cool Mint, Vanilla Mint and Pink Camo. Pink Camo is also Vanilla mint but a portion of the proceeds from every purchased lip balm goes to Mountain states Tumor Institute to help women pay for mammorgrams, biopsies, and breast cancer treatments.
All in all I had a very nice experiance with balmshot and plan to continue using :).
